intro
HackSource is a 40-hour hackathon organized by Open Minds Club, bringing together students, developers, designers, and entrepreneurs to collaborate on innovative solutions. As a key member of the team, I was responsible for designing the user interface and developing the frontend of the event website .
Objectives & Requirements
Challenges :
I organized the platform’s content to ensure intuitive navigation, grouping key features like buying, selling, and renting for easy access. I designed a seamless user flow to guide users effortlessly from the homepage to their desired actions and implemented a straightforward navigation system to enhance usability and quick access to all property types.
Design Requirements :
I identified a gap in the Algerian market, where no single platform effectively supports buying, selling, and renting all property types. This highlighted the need for a user-friendly, comprehensive platform.
I developed user personas to address the specific needs and goals of the target audience, ensuring the platform meets diverse user expectations.
I analyzed existing platforms to understand their shortcomings, guiding my design decisions to offer a more intuitive and complete solution.
Tools & Technologies :
I developed wireframes to map out the platform’s layout and functionality, and created prototypes to test and refine the user experience based on feedback. This ensured an intuitive and effective final design.
Outcome
The platform has effectively addressed the Algerian market's need for a comprehensive real estate solution. It provides users with an intuitive and professional experience for buying, selling, and renting all property types.
